MODERN LIGHTING
ENGINEERED FROM
SALVAGED WOOD
CLIMATE-CONSCIOUS
Since 2020 we have collaborated with Climate Neutral to track, reduce, and offset our emissions. Working with salvaged materials, local vendors, and modular flat-pack designs helps to reduce our overall footprint.
IMPACT-DRIVEN
We became a B Corp in 2022 to help us set goals, eliminate blind spots, build community, and seamlessly merge our aspiration to be good with actions that actually do good.
HYPER-LOCAL
We construct our light fixtures out of wood from locally demolished buildings, dismantled water towers, and fallen trees – often coming from within a mile or two from our studio.
THIS IS OUR SUPPLY CHAIN
New York City is believed to be home to more than 14 million cubic meters of old-growth timber, making it the largest repository of this material in the country. Each year, some 1,000 buildings in New York City constructed with old-growth wood are demolished or gutted and renovated. The average quantity of wood per building is estimated to be 14 cubic meters. That means that, on average, 14,000 cubic meters of old-growth wood is removed annually. This is the equivalent of 5.5 statues of liberty-worth of wood. The vast majority of this material ends up in landfills, where it releases carbon dioxide as it decomposes, contributing to greenhouse gas emissions.

Featured Product
Ray Sconce
RAY is comprised of a small metal hardware component that mounts to the wall and holds a solid wooden LED bulb vertically or horizontally. The design is so minimal that it draws your attention closer to the subtle details of the wood grain and the machined precision of the sconce construction. RAY SCONCE is offered in 18in, 2ft, 3ft, 4ft, 5ft, or custom lengths.
FEATURED PRODUCTS
Featured Collection
Chime

OUR SHOWROOM
Our showroom, studio, and workshop are housed within the same century-old iron factory building in New York City. Our 10,000 square-foot facility is divided into two halves: a showroom exhibiting a range of standard and custom products, and a dedicated area for design and production. Showroom is by appointment only.
